Every day I receive in my Inbox various email messages from
people trying to sell me products that are supposed to
enlarge a part of my body. You know what I mean. Nobody stops such messages!
According to the spam filters ... such messages are not spam ...
But when I wanted to offer something for free to some of my friends a lot of my messages came back undelivered.
Why?
Because I don't know what smart software decided that
my message was spam! The score of my message was
over I don't want to know which limit and this means that is spam!
How nice!
I don't know whether or not you are aware of these issues, but they happen to you too ...
Are we at war and some Email / Internet Service Providers
are the chiefs of the army who decide that your correspondence
must be read prior to being delivered to you and allow you to receive only what THEY believe it's not dangerous?
What will you say, my dear reader, if tomorrow the postman tells you:
"Hello Mr. Reader, you've received 4 boxes. Here is one of them.
I sent the other 3 back because we've scanned them and noticed that they contain freebies from your relatives."
But what about the case when Mr. Postman will give you the
same box, but will not tell you anything about the other three? This is what the spam filters are doing!
Well ... not exactly the same. Most of you are even paying for
these services! Did your Email / Internet Service Provider inform you that you're paying him to censor your correspondence?
Did anybody inform you what it really means to have a spam filter installed?
Did anybody inform you that many of the ezines you are
subscribed to will never arrive in your Inbox?
Not because they are no longer published but because your Email Service Provider has installed a spam filter ...
Did anybody inform you that because of these spam
filters, which even YOU may like, your ezine ad that you
paid for may never arrive in some of the recipients Inboxes?
Take care when you choose an Email Service Provider ...
Take care when you install a spam filter ...
Take care what words and domain names you use in your
ezine ads and learn how to avoid spam filters so that
your legitimate email messages arrive to the intended recipient.

This article about spam filters is so true. There is nothing as frustrating as trying to get an email through to someone so they can download their purchase.
People don't realize that when they have their email tied up tighter than Fort Knox that they aren't getting a lot of their email. And then they blame you for not answering. Very frustrating.
I don't use filters. Yes, it's a pain to hand delete all of the garbage, but at least I know I'm getting the emails from my customers, and other people that I want, or need to hear from.
Thanks for a good article this week!
